For a little girl, bows are everywhere: in our hair, on our shoes, and on every sweater we wear to a nice event.

Today, bows are making a beautiful and feminine comeback, but not like you might think.

Bows are feminine, classic, and can add a little sex appeal to your average outfit. From bow-neck button-ups to adding feminine detail to a casual sweater, bows can be functional and professional.  Not to mention that with a bow-neck top, you don't need neck jewelry.

For work, I would suggest wearing a bow-neck top, which is fashionable and conservative. Pair it with your classic slacks and a professional shoe.

For a more modern look, add another fashionable pop to your outfit, such as an animal print shoe or a dangly pair of earrings.

For the weekends, I always want to feel comfortable but look appropriate and put together. A sweater or cardigan with a bow detail is the perfect mix. Pair that with your favorite pair of jeans and a cute pair of flats.

Finally, for that night out (if you dare!), pairing a bow-neck top and a flirty skirt is always a head-turner! Add that extra feminine twist with some sweet sequined shoes.

We’re women, and we are allowed to be fun, fashionable, and sexy. Bows aren’t just for little girls anymore…
