Romantic Restaurants: Volare
Are you planning a romantic evening in an Italian setting? If so, then Volare is the place to be. As you enter the restaurant, notice the painted stucco walls, which depict an old Italian villa; the contemporary Italian-inspired artwork; a floor-to-ceiling wine rack; and a large mural of Venice.
Everyone at Volare is welcoming and personable, and the service is high-class. You'll enter feeling like the most important guest in the restaurant, and you'll leave wondering when you can go back for more.
Many areas of the restaurant offer romantic dining experiences. One can even find private nooks in the bustling bar area. However, there are two tables in particular at Volare that have been labeled as "the most romantic tables" in the restaurant. And those are table number 45 (shown in the photos above) and table number 51. Both are located in the terraced dinning area of the restaurant, which is situated near the bar. Proposals, anniversaries and other special occasions have been noted at these romantic spaces. Many people call ahead and reserve these tables by number.
Live music is performed in the bar area in the evenings Wednesday through Saturday. The volume is loud enough for the entire restaurant but low enough that you can still hold a comfortable conversation with your romantic someone. Be sure to ask about the evening specials on bottles of wine, valid only when dining in the bar area.
The menu is vast and the food is fantastic! Be sure to check out the newest entree item on the menu, the Vitello. This veal chop is stuffed with goat cheese, topped with onions and roasted red peppers, and drizzled with a reduction of red wine, veal glace and porcini mushroom-infused balsamic vinegar.
Definitely save room for dessert. Chef Josh Moore has a passion for desserts. The Chocolate Lava Cake is fantastic, and it's beautifully and artistically presented. The portion is enough for two to share. Another great choice is the Tiramisu. It's the very best I've ever tasted.
So, no matter the occasion, if you want a romantic Italian dining experience, be sure to stop by Volare. It's fantastico!

Yum! Can't wait to try Volare!
ReplyDeleteWow! That restaurant is perfect for a romantic date for this valentines day. How I wish there someone can invite to dine on that romantic restaurant. However that restaurant is too far from my location so that I am pretty much sure we can have a dinner date in one of the romantic restaurants near in Makati.
