How to Wear Neon Without Blinding People

New neon trends have been hitting the stores like crazy, so don’t be scared of fluorescent summer styles – embrace them! From feminine cuts to designer heels, neon fashion can be safely worn by everyone. Here are a few tips on how to rock this summer style.

1. Keep one piece as the focus. Whether it’s your killer neon yellow heels or a cute summer dress with a few strips of neon pink, make your accessories neutral and classic. Wearing an electric blue skirt like the one in the photo? Pair it with a simple white button down and strappy brown heels. Dare to do more? Add another punch of fun with a leopard clutch!
2. When treading lightly with trendy colors, I always start with accessories.  Accessories are a less expensive investment but can make the same dramatic effect. Sunglasses, statement necklaces and lots of brightly colored bangles are a great way to add that touch of neon to your everyday style.
3. When in doubt, always get a classic fit.  Grab a cute peplum top, like the one above, and pair it with some dark skinny jeans and a classic pump. When the fit is perfect, the color will only complement you more.
