*On a personal note, I’ve interviewed the Kentucky native numerous times over the years beginning in 1998 (the last time for T.W. was Dec. 2007). She is in person just as she is on stage: an open book, deeply sensitive, down-to-earth and possessing a quick deadpan sense of humor. I also consider Wynonna to be one of the greatest female vocal talents of this and any other time; her artistry is such that audible gasps are emitted from members of the audience during her heart-wrenching renditions of I Want To Know What Love Is and Ave Maria (the latter also a track off her 2007 CD, Wynonna A Classic Christmas).
