Whet Your Palette
Louisville’s drop-in painting facility, Whet Your Palette, lets you come in any time during business hours and paint. You can choose from more than 300 different paintings or pick your own, and the artists on staff offer as much or as little help as you want. If you prefer to work in a group, there are evening classes that teach a specific painting. Either way, you’re bound to be inspired by the atmosphere. “It’s a beautiful location in a historic home, and you can just sit and paint and relax,” says owner/artist Judith Kennedy Zinner Kronbach.
