Suffering From Postpartum Depression?
Postpartum depression is a term most moms and moms-to-be have heard, but often missing from the plethora of information available about PPD is an issue camouflaged behind it: Postpartum anxiety/obsessive compulsive disorder, which is shown to be more prevalent than postpartum depression.
According to a study released by The Journal of Reproductive Medicine, one in 10 new moms will show symptoms of postpartum anxiety/OCD. Christy Weber, licensed professional clinical counselor, and Jennifer Molina, prenatal and postpartum certified yoga instructor and birth and postpartum doula help test your knowledge on this perinatal mood disorder. See our full story in this month's issue here to see how much you know.
