Arts Insider Pick of the Week: Taste of Frankfort Avenue

In the 22 years that the annual Taste of Frankfort Avenue has been around- featuring food from more than twenty of Louisville’s finest restaurants, live music, and cash bar, it’s become a summertime favorite for many residents of the Clifton, Crescent Hill, Highlands and Rolling Fields neighborhoods.

For the first time this year, Taste is offering an exciting VIP package that provides supporters with extra amenities like early admission to the tasting area before it opens to the general public and table seating on the Eifler Theater stage, where you’ll meet and experience demonstrations by several of Louisville’s premier food and drinks makers, offering special tastings of brandy, bourbon, coffee, chocolate, cheese and other savories. Presenters include: Woodford Reserve Master Taster, Elizabeth O’Neil, Copper & Kings, Chef John Plymale of Porcini’s, Kenny’s Farmhouse Cheese, Vint Coffee, and Cellar Door Chocolates (providing edible props (mustaches and lips!) for delicious fun in the Magnolia Photo Booth Co. photo Booth!)

VIP Patrons will also enjoy swag bags filled with all sorts of treats and treasures, reserved parking, two bar beverages, and a chance to win a season pass for the 2015-2016 Live at the Clifton Center concert series. Best of all, your VIP Patron level ticket purchase will help the Clifton Center as it continues its efforts to become one of the region’s premier cultural institutions.

Proceeds from the Taste support the Clifton Center’s programming throughout the year.
