Manny & Merle's Hot Chicken! |
Are you looking for great southern inspired cuisine in a Honky-Tonk setting? If so, then head downtown to Manny & Merle in the Whiskey Row district of Louisville. Try this dish, Manny & Merle's Hot Chicken! This quarter sized piece is coated with a house-made hot sauce and fried in a
pressure cooker, which creates a crispy outside and a tender, juicy inside.
Here's a popular starter, the Bacon Picks shown here with their house-made bourbon maple sauce. A great salty/sweet combination. If you love bacon, this is a must have!

Their guacamole is equally as good. If you're not sure which option to choose from, select all three and share! The Roasted Corn Poblano and Grilled Pineapple are a delicious twist of a traditional guacamole favorite.

Be sure to check out Manny & Merle's Tuesday-Friday lunch special menu section (11 am - 2 pm only) for a great value. See selected menu items. Here is my favorite, the 1/2 KY Kale Salad with the Green Chili Pork Taco.

For the summertime, outdoor seating is also available. A sectioned off area from the side of the building. A true downtown feel.
