This weekend, The 41st annual Holiday Home Tour takes place in Old Louisville, a national historic preservation district featuring the largest collection of Victorian architecture in the country. Step back in time and enjoy an authentic Victorian Tea or a free bourbon tasting.

You can also check out a magic show, listen to beautiful holiday music, eat breakfast with Santa, see a play, and more.

What To Do This Weekend

Pay homage to one of Louisville's biggest icons as conductor Teddy Abrams and the Louisville Orchestra present the world premiere of Abrams’ new genre-straddling work, The Greatest: Muhammad Ali, at The Kentucky Center. The Greatest is an immersive orchestral experience with music, poetry, narration, and dance. The work will be heard in its entirety for the first time. The orchestra also celebrates its 80th anniversary at a gala in conjunction with the performance.

Also this weekend, check out a free concert on your Friday lunch break, get outdoors and experience the relationship between sound, music, and nature, catch a rodeo or horse show, and more.

You and the family can even be a part of the third Community Butterfly Garden Planting Day (above) at Blackacre State Nature Preserve and Historic Homestead. The new 9,000-square-foot pollinator garden you help create will feature over 60 species of Kentucky native plants, a diverse habitat for numerous honey and bumblebees and other endangered pollinators including butterflies.
